2020 Player Rankings (Wisconsin)

(All rankings are based on the observations FCH has made based on games watched, film, and additional research, and are the personal opinions of FCH. Players are ranked as college prospects, not necessarily on high school production. It is recognized that all of these players are extremely talented, and that there are many more talented players not in these rankings.)

1. Jalen Johnson- 6'8 2020 SF, Nicolet, Phenom U
      2017-18 Stats: 18.4 ppg and 9.6 rpg
One of the elite players nationally in the class, Jalen Johnson is an extremely skilled small forward. Also capable of playing the point guard position, Jalen possesses good ball handling and exceptional court vision. Jalen is a great athlete, known for pulling off between-the-legs dunks in games, and capable of finishing through or over defenders. He is a matchup problem, as he is able to hit the three, but also use his size around the rim. On the defensive end, Jalen jumps the passing lane creating a lot of turnovers and easy buckets, and is also a talented shot blocker. He lead Sun Prairie to their first state tournament appearance, and impressed division one schools from across the country.

Jamari is capable of scoring inside or from the mid-range, where he uses a high releasing jumpshot which is near impossible to block. Despite his thin frame, Jamari is a fighter inside, battling for every rebound on both ends. A developing threat on the perimeter, Jamari has shown the ability to hit the occasional three, though most of his work is still done around the basket. He also has the ability to run the fast break, a rare skill for someone of his size. Jamari's best basketball lies ahead, and it's no surprise that high majors around the country are offering.
